Let's talk about current events in French and improve our understanding and debating skills. This class has a new syllabus every period and a hands on curriculum to better integrate the participants' needs! You can repeat it several times as long as you are a strong b1 or a b2+ speaker.

From June 1st to July 20th, 1.5 hours over 8 weeks


Curriculum: The ability to express what's happening in the world can really boost your confidence while traveling for fun or for work. The learning activities are adapted to the intermediate level (B1) or above and are designed to improve reading, speaking and listening skills. We will work with newspapers such as Le Monde, international news (RFI, Le Monde Diplomatique, Jeune Afrique, TV5 monde), French TV News (TF1, Canal +) to explore how French-speaking media portray current events worldwide.

In this course you will:
- Improve your listening comprehension
- Give your opinion and interact on a theme-based sequence
- Learn about Francophone culture on current events
- Use a news report to improve key grammatical structures
- Learn new words and improve your writing skills

This is a class you can do several times! Each semester, it offers actual topics. The curriculum also varies according to the needs of the participants. If you are looking for a class to improve your professional language skills, this class will also suit your needs.
