Holiday Workshop French Cuisine Alexandria Fri 6pm
Discover French specialties, and learn the vocabulary that's centered around wine and comfort foods!
These workshops are most suitable for elementary to advanced level students (A2, B1 and B2+), as this is a full immersion experience. If you are a premier elementary student, you will not understand all of the content. However, you will acquire a rich vocabulary and abundant exposure to the French language.
Three Fridays in December, from 6 to 8pm in Alexandria – 2 hours for $40 (plus food tasting if we have a minimum of 4 participants).
Choose between 3 dates:
1) Friday December 8th: The Art of Aperitif
Why are the French so obsessed with Aperitif? What foods and drinks are served? (Food and beverage tasting requires a minimum of 4 participants).
2) Friday December 15th: The Art of Cheese
Don't butcher your cheese, learn to cut it properly! Discover regions, different type of cheeses, and fun, cheesy stories.
3) Friday December 22nd: The Art of Wine
What is it with French people and their love for wine? Learn some wine vocabulary, the regions from where specific wines comes from, and some of their most ideal parings.
NB: This is not a professional wine workshop, but more a French/ vocabulary/ discussion class. We are not wine specialists, but French teachers loving wine. :)
